How to prepare for your project with

Paint-it-Wright

WORKING TOGETHER IS IMPORTANT

We work with you to come up with the very best solutions for your challenges!

01

Contract and Expectations

  • Read your contract carefully, so to be sure it meets your satisfaction.
  • Be clear with your expectations of what you want to be completed during the project, such as painting, taping baseboards, or replacing and removing items.

02

Prep Work

  • If you chose to complete some of the prep work yourself, make sure it's done promptly so that the schedule can still be adhered to.

03

Valuables

  • If you have any valuables in a room we'll be working in, please move them to a safe place. Get everything you can out of the painting area and make sure that your valuables are stored away.

04

Be Reachable

Be reachable during a home painting project to address any unforeseen issues. You don't need to be present the whole time, but make sure we can contact you. We want to complete the project promptly and ensure your satisfaction.

A couple more good to know tips:

Before We Start

Before we start painting the interior or exterior of your home, we need to review the job together to come to a mutual understanding. Again, it's important that we know your expectations and what kind of cooperation is needed to get the job done right. We'll review what furniture and possessions need to be moved, and you must let us know the best places to put them. We'll also need you and your family to stay out of certain rooms to make sure the job is completed properly.

A reputable painting contractor should usually stay within the work area of the project and avoid going to other parts of your home. But it is not unusual to need access to areas, such as the bathroom, or require a place to store supplies for projects that will take more than one day. If you don't have a problem allowing us to keep our work supplies in the work area, let us know. Otherwise, we will take everything with us which may require extra setup time the next day. This is a convenience that many contractors appreciate and will speed up the project's completion.
